CITY CENTER ­ ALTSTADT. This is a popular Thai restaurant near the Hotel Vierjahreszeiten with a beautiful traditional interior and excellent service. The menu features an array of spicy Thai dishes and fixed menus are available for those who are not as well versed in the cuisine. The lunch menu is good as well.

HAIDHAUSEN ­ BOGENHAUSEN. This is the site of the original Vietnamese Culture Center that got its name from the succulent Vietnamese cuisine it served. Locals and travelers alike rave about the hand-written menus, traditional service, and wonderful entrées. The specialties here are steamed dishes with the spice and flavor of Vietnam.

CITY CENTER - ALTSTADT. This popular Japanese eatery is considered by many to be one of the best in the city, with a good selection of tempura and sushi. Great service and a nice atmosphere make this a definite place to try. For new sushi fans, the prix fixe menus are a good option.
