CITY CENTER ­ ALTSTADT. This is a large beer garden in the heart of the English Garden and draws a mix of travelers and locals for lunch, dinner or an afternoon beer. It is considered one of the most fun gardens in the city. Open until 11pm during the summer months, travelers are encouraged to visit after a day of business or sightseeing. Large beer selection and kids fun area available. It's a true German beer garden: you can bring your own food, but you must purchase beverages here.
